What is The Check In?

The Check In is a private community for men to connect, reflect, and grow—together.
It offers live, guided group calls and a private platform where real conversations happen.
There’s structure, consistency, and support—so you can show up, speak up, and move forward at your own pace.

Is this therapy?

No. The Check In is not therapy, counseling, or professional advice. This is a space for honest conversations and support, but if you need professional help, we encourage you to seek it.

Is this a Facebook group?

No. The Check In isn’t a Facebook group—we’re building something different.
While you might see us on Instagram or Facebook for outreach, the actual community happens off social media. We’re creating a space away from distractions, ads, and algorithms, where real conversations can happen
without noise.

The Check In runs on Heartbeat.Chat, a private and secure platform
designed for real engagement.

(If Zuck ever decides to check in, we’ll have to see if he’s ready to do the work.)

Where do calls happen?

Our calls happen directly inside Heartbeat. Chat or via Zoom. All information about calls, resources, and discussions will be organized within Heartbeat.Chat in clearly structured sections.

Membership & Payments

How do I join?

Joining is simple:
1. Click Join The Check In anywhere on the site.
2. Choose monthly or annual membership.
3. Sign up through Heartbeat.Chat and complete your payment securely via Stripe.

Once you’re in, you’ll get full access to the community.

Is there a free trial?

No. The Check In is a paid community. There are no free trials, no multiple tiers—just one membership, one level of access.

How much does it cost?

We offer two membership options:
Monthly – Pay month-to-month with the flexibility to cancel anytime.
Annual – Commit for a full year and save on your membership.
Pricing details are available on the sign-up page.

Why is pricing in CAD?

We opted to start membership with CAD to simplify things for conversion and accounting. For our friends south of the border, this means you’re getting a great deal, thanks to the exchange rate.

How is my payment processed?

All payments are handled securely through Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. You can cancel anytime through your account settings. Your membership will stay active until the end of your current billing cycle.

Do you offer refunds?

No. We do not offer refunds. The Check In is about commitment—to yourself,
your growth, and the community.

Is my data safe?

Yes. The Check In runs on Heartbeat.Chat, a secure, encrypted platform. We do not track, sell, or share your information. For details, see our Privacy & Terms page.

What personal information
do you collect?

We collect only what’s necessary:
Your name and email – To create your account and send updates.
Your payment info – Handled by Stripe. We never see or store your financial details.

Are my conversations private?

Yes. What you share in The Check In stays in The Check In.
This is a confidential space.
No recording, screenshots, or sharing outside the group.
No posting about what others have said—inside or outside the platform.
We build trust by keeping conversations in the room.

Community & Expectations

What’s expected of me
in this community?

This space only works if you show up with the right mindset. That means:

Show up—physically, mentally, emotionally.
Listen as much as you speak.
Respect the space—no hate, harassment, or toxic behavior.
No alcohol or drugs on any calls.
No selling, spamming, or self-promotion.
What happens in The Check In stays in The Check In.

How do I engage in a way that
supports the group?

Speak from your own experience. Use “I” statements instead of generalizing or giving unsolicited advice.

No belittling, mocking, or dismissing other members. Everyone is here to grow.
There’s no such thing as a stupid question. If you’re wondering about something, chances are someone else is too.

Respect the silence. Sometimes the best thing you can do is listen.

What if a facilitator
removes me from a call?

If a facilitator notices a member acting out of alignment with our values, they will be removed from calls immediately—no warnings.

What if I disagree with
a facilitator’s decision?

You can appeal by emailing hello@thecheckin.live. Facilitators and moderators will review appeals on a case-by-case basis.
